What’s the difference between IBE® and other methods?
IBE® was created with the health of the guest’s scalp and hair as it’s main priority. They created a unique track that focuses on flexibility and equal weight distribution. Which is durable and easily maintained due to this continuous track. We believe that minimal points of contact equal maximum points of damage. Unlike other traditional beaded weft methods, with IBE® there is no contact of a bead with the scalp at any time. Because of that, as well as our focus on proper tension, IBE® is a much more comfortable extension experience for guests. Our focus is on the precision of stitching and beadwork which allows for a longer time in between move ups.
How is an IBE® flip up different then others?
Invisible Bead Extensions® is known as the “Original Flip Up” for good reason. It is the first Patented extension method to show a bead-less flip up.They were the first to truly research and develop a method which put the safety of the clients hair and scalp first. They were the first to be transparent with grow outs, showing the world what guest’s extensions look like at 6, 10, 16, and 26 weeks! With nothing to hide !
Many methods have tried to copy the IBE® flip up. However attention to detail is unmatched while an emphasis to proper tension and placement is not found in any other extension training system. Authenticity is never questioned because IBE® was created to solve the problems with other methods and training systems, not to just copy a photo.
Invisible Bead Extensions® are applied without adhesive, unlike other methods that use glue, heat, or tape. They are stitched into a row of beads that wrap around the head in a horseshoe shape. It’s the safest method because there is no adhesive application to your hair which helps keep your hair in a natural fall.Other beaded methods over direct your hair pulling it to one side causing pinkness and creating tension spots on your scalp. IBE keeps your hair in the same direction it naturally grows giving you maximum scalp comfort throughout your wear.
IBE® blends naturally with your hair and is flexible. To achieve a seamless blend each extension weft is hand painted and custom coloured for the most natural looking results. The quantity and placement of each row is determined specifically for each individual’s needs. It is not a one size fits all approach. You are one of a kind, so your application should be tailored specifically to you too!

1 Row Instal
1 row is used mainly for fullness and can add up to 2” of length. This is an excellent option for adding a bit of oomph and volume.
2 Row instal
Most universally worn and perfect for adding length and volume.
3+ Row Instal
Fullness and fills in the sides. Short to long transformations and provides the most length and fullness.
1 -3 Row Re-Instals
All maintenance rows (re-instals) are removed completely and reinstalled allowing hair to keep its integrity at all times.
After Care
Home care instructions for extensions is a MUST!!!.
WASHING
You will want to wash your hair less often. If you find you must wash more frequently try only washing the hair that's on top of the highest row or using dry shampoo in between washes. Use a weekly mask to deep condition extensions.
BRUSHING
Brush thoroughly holding the base of the extensions while you brush. Work your way up from the bottom to get all tangles and knots out. Ensure you are thoroughly brushing to prevent hair from matting or causing damage to your own hair and/or the extensions. If extensions become matted it will be impossible to reuse them.
*Use a wet brush or an extension brush with metal bristles.
STYLING
Use a hair oil daily. Hand tied wefts must be blow dried completely at the base after washing.Otherwise swelling of the weft may occur which can make them unsafe to reinstall. Although the micro-weft collection does not swell at the base, always dry the weft line to prevent scalp irritation.Especially post-workout and after sauna / stream room use.
SLEEPING
Brush thoroughly before going to bed. A low three strand braid or two French braids are the most secure options for wearing your hair. Using silk (scrunchies, scarfs and pillow cases) are highly recommended.
FUN IN THE SUN
Avoid sunscreen containing oxybenzone and avobenzone. They will cause a chemical reaction, leaving extensions stained pink/orange and can not be removed easily if at all!
When swimming in chlorine pools it's best not to get your hair wet to prevent discolouration, tangled, matted and damaged hair.When swimming in salt water prep your hair by wetting and applying a layer of leave in conditioner prior. Beach days reapply leave in conditioner throughout the day and thoroughly wash hair afterwards.

WHAT IS THE COST?
An in person consultation will give you the most accurate pricing as the cost varies dependant on; desired length, amount of wefts and number of rows needed. Approximate cost is as follows:
ONE ROW starts at approximately $800
TWO ROWS starts at approximately $1600
THREE ROWS starts at approximately $2400
ARE HAND TIED/ MICRO-WEFTS UNCOMFORTABLE?
IBE® hair extensions are the most comfortable extensions on the market with the versatility to wear your hair up without it being apparent that you're even wearing extension! We focus on flexibility and equal weight distribution which creates a much more safe and comfortable experience for guests.
IS THIS METHOD DAMAGING ?
The IBE® method was created specifically with the clients scalp and hair health as the priority.Therefore the hair holds its integrity and it allows your natural hair the chance to grow especially if the hair has been over processed previously. It is also very important that you take good care of your extensions and follow the after care instructions in order to keep your investment looking and feeling as amazing as the first day they were installed.
HOW LONG CAN I GO BETWEEN MOVE UPS?
Typically guest rebook their install between 6-10 weeks. It is not recommended to go any longer then 10 weeks between move ups.
CAN I WASH MY HAIR EVERYDAY?
Washing your hair twice a week is recommend. If you must wash every day I highly recommend trying IBE° dry shampoo or section out the top of your natural hair and only washing that section on the in between days to help keep the extensions from drying out.
WHAT’S INCLUDED IN MY PACKAGE?
Packages include new custom hair, specific for each guest.The extensions will be coloured and matched perfectly. Hair will be installed and cut with the amount of rows previously discussed. Guests also receive bottles of Goldie Locks by IBE shampoo, conditioner, leave in conditioner and serum to seal the deal.
WHAT CAN I EXPECT DURING MY APPOINTMENT?
Since your extensions will be installed on dry hair we ask that you please come with clean dry hair. Each row installed can take about 2 hours with a 3rd row generally taking less time. Your sections will be carefully chosen with the bead work and stitching perfectly placed. For the most natural look, extensions will need to be coloured and cut. Your appointment often takes hours to achieve so we offer a choice of options from the smoothie bar along with light snacks, water, kombucha, coffee or tea.
WHAT TO EXPECT AFTER MY APPOINTMENT?
Expect to feel a whole new level of confidence and radiance. You will also need to consider that your IBE investment will require to be maintained with move-ups every 6-10 weeks. Having extra hair means added time when styling. It is a commitment but you can definitely expect to be in love with your hair and create the look you've been dreaming of. HOW LONG WILL MY HAIR LAST FOR?
